And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It may not mean anything, but I noticed the fact that the chair is, shall I say, well used. Just from the picture, I'd say they value children over things
That chair being well used does mean something, and your pointing it out makes me think of my Mum and Dad raising 8 kids while my Dad was a tool and die guy at GM, working nights for the bit higher pay, and my Mum was the church organist. They sent each and everyone one of us to Christian schools, tithed faithfully, made us work in the garden, etc. Sure, us kids at times wanted the "better" toys or what-have-you some of the other kids had, but we never lacked clean clothes, good food, and, most importantly we never lacked love, discipline, and displays of how faith is lived. We weren't rich, but we sure as heck weren't poor.
One of my sons has four kids; three six and under. They purposely don't have nice furniture. Let the kids be kids first.
I also noticed that the mom is more down to earth than first appearance. Those are the non-bunioned feet of a woman who NEVER wears heels to make herself look better. She already does.
Since that's probably the whole family and they set up a camera or had granny or grampy take the photo, then the photo certainly is staged but as one who can spot a fake smile a mile away I don't think the sentiment or emotions are staged at all.
What a great family photo! I can almost hear the purity of those kids' laughter. Excellent!

How much of this stuff is being staged?

DeleteOnly the material stuff is staged, the love is real. . .
DeleteThe little girl is about seven years old. Staging for seven years, kudos!
DeleteLooks like a good bunch.

ReplyDeleteThe America "they" want to eliminate.
DeleteYes, yes it is.
ReplyDeletelooks like a modern Norman Rockwell
ReplyDeleteI think that sadly, the trick is to find a girl who wants lots of children. They aren't as easy to find these days.
