And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The front lower pockets on my cargo shorts are pure murder. One lower cabinet door in particular, in the kitchen, has been snatched sideways so may times it no longer hangs straight. The hinge is permanently warped.
First job was with Boeing in 1964 and we had to wear a suit and tie. Coming in one day my pocket caught the door jam and ripped it half off. I wore that suit, only one I had, for the next six months and whenever anybody said anything I made my case it was Boeings fault. Needless to say my career there was short lived.
