Exploring REDDING (a Northern California GEM! ๐Ÿ˜) | Waterfalls, FOOD, Cas...

  1. Redding is a hidden gem. I used to work at the fish hatchery up in Lewiston, about 50 minutes west. Going to Redding was the "big town," though it wasn't all that big in the 1970's! The climate is awesome; lots of sunshine. And, you can go any direction from Redding and see fantastic scenery and the best fishing in the state. Great people too (not like other parts of Calif).

  2. I'm sworn off CA, sorry. I'm glad I got to experience San Fran when it was a decent tourist town. Now I won't even buy CA wine, since CA govt. boycotts my state.

    1. The majority of the state, including Shasta County, is trapped politically by the two big metro areas and the coasts. Get away from those areas and the state is very conservative.

  3. I figured that was the Carr Fire burn they were riding through. I guessed right.
