    1. If 30mm, then depleted Uranium. The pic also points to why the engines were placed where they are. The initial placement the gun would cause the engines to flame out.

  2. Your plane has a gun, his gun has a plane.

  3. I know for sure a lot of Hog pilots look at that long Russian convoy in Ukraine and think, "If only..."

    1. Supposedly mince-meat for Russian anti-air protection over that column and from inside Roosia!

    2. They'll need to send some wild weasels along too. The Russians are relearning the lesson of the AFG after we shipped some stingers to the muj. The Russians aren't flying much during the day because of Stinger missiles and other AD missile systems. Some of their own have been captured and turned on them.

  7. Doesn't seem real over populated area. The AP rounds are depleted uranium.
Loaded munitions 78-80 on them in England.

  8. The finest ground support aircraft ever made. Started by designing the gun, then built the plane around it. Every system in duplicate for high survivability, and the pilot in a titanium tub, for the same reason. Low and slow, loiter around til needed, then rain down fire and brimstone wherever needed.
