And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The cops would be constantly pulling you over to make sure this wasn't real
I wouldn't have bothered stopping them. There is no room for anything behind the bumper shroud, as there is a tire there. Would have shaken my head to something that dumb, though.
They wouldn't pull you over if you had them mounted on the rear too...
But StB is right: Don't mount them in a light recess. Make proper fiberglass blister humps, and don't forget some graphite for powder exhaust, along with a slot for ejected brass.
Bonus points for installing strobe lights and proper sound effects over PA speakers. Make people think twice about cutting you off, or doing 45 in the left lane on the freeway.
Kill flags or silhouettes on the driver's side are a nice touch too.
