In fact I just read that it was Ukrainian soldiers that were blocking refugees from exiting cities, even shooting at them to prevent escape. While it is certainly possible that the Ruskies were doing the shooting, it is with Ukrainians being responsible that I would wager my Krugerrand.

Angantyr, The Russians agreed to allow civilians out of Mariupol. When they had gathered to prepare to leave, the Russians started shelling them, not Ukrainians. Putin has become desperate and the Russians are getting more ruthless because of the lack of progress.
So what did we learn from this video? 762x51 would have been way more effective. And full auto didn't happen. But it's just one big guess. One thing for sure, if there were a few hundred million armed regulars with plenty of ammo and controlling the high ground there wouldn't have been a invasion. And the enemies of the regulars here in USA know that, hence gun control laws.
They should've yelled "CNN", if it was Russians doing the shooting and besides, nobody really believes there are journalists anymore.
