And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
1970 was the "Cuda". I had one. 440, six-pack, 4 speed, 4:10 rear. 5 MPG around town on Sunoco 260. 12 on trip I took to Dillon SC to elope. Was the biggest piece of junk, I've ever owned. It was fast but it was junk. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Of course, now it's worth it's weight in gold.
Was that the year they officially called it a 'Cuda?

ReplyDeleteThe cuda was for performance versions. Slant 6 and 318 cars were barracudas.
ReplyDeleteBoth good engines.
DeleteNever seen it in that color, which is about the same color as my 91 S10. Sky Blue.
