And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was thinking that was a young Marilyn on Mulholland Drive.
h/t- the tv show Highway Patrol, and it's IMDb 'filming locations' feature. They were big on filming shows on Mulholland Drive and it's a pretty unique landscape, although now it's completely developed. It sure wasn't back in the late '40s / early '50s.
There was just something about that woman. Very special.
#1: "I asked the D-O where's November-1, what he told me then gave me a fright. He said "Just drive out to the edge of the world, and when you get there hang a right!'"
Couple of those babes are from the Big Rez (I'll wager). Real American Beauties. The lady is wearing tourist flash- the Old Navajo Trade Turquoise is much lovelier. Don't tell people where this area is- it's tourista enough.
My favorite is the one with the dog.
ReplyDeleteBoth the gals in the trucks are dandy, as the are the dogs and pups with the one gal, who is wearing some serious southwestern bling.
ReplyDeleteTurn the “Uranian” news off and stare at these pictures for a while to regain some measure of sanity.
