This wooden replica of a Viking longboat was discovered during archaeological excavations at Winetavern Street, Dublin. Dating from the 12th century AD, the vessel originally had a mast & sail and was probably a much loved toy

  2. Somehow I find more connection to a person in this toy than any jewel, coin, weapon or structure. Dunna know, must be the kids in the painting?
