  2. The last lizard I caught was an alligator lizard, that was the first one I'd even seen with teeth!

  4. I got bit by a pet iguana- they're serious vegetarians- that mistook my finger for a piece of fruit I was feeding her.
    Serious blood.

  5. As a child, nearly sixty years ago, I was bit by a small "pet" alligator. One bite was all it took to learn the lesson. Don't play with alligators.
    Of course I didn't realize that alligators don't normally survive in Washington State.
