  1. # 11 for me today. That brought back a lot of memories of my youth when we would go on vacation. You saw a lot of those little picnic areas or roadside rests stops along our countries highways. I remember once going up to Hibbing MN and back in those days i was about a 16 hour trip from our house in NW Indy, we pulled over like that 4 or so times, we'd play and my dad would have a beer and then nap for 20-30 minutes and then off we'd go

    1. I count it as #12. Same memories except on the east coast. Have a picture almost exact like this except it's a whit '60 Rambler.

  2. Honored to be included in the FOR. I may take the rig out for another foray in the hills. Cheers!

    1. That looks just like Highway 101 south of Fortuna, California. I keep picturing what the dining table will look like after a log truck with a high load of Redwood blows by in the #2 lane at 65 miles per hour.

  7. #27 1974 Honda CB 550 Four. I had that bike. I put over 30,000 miles on it touring California and Oregon in the 70's. Freezing in Yosemite, cooking in the desert. Sleeping bag, compact gas stove, a couple bucks and a map. 7 day bike trip every year. Thought those times would never end. Now I'm looking at travel trailers, ha ha.

    1. I was out riding my 1975 CB550 today, it is still only up to about 7,000 original miles, I love it!

  8. The first picture looks a lot like East Tennessee. It makes me homesick.
