A Great Christmas Gift

  1. I have the 8 qt verion of that model. Pretty handy and easy to clean. Best thing to hard "boil" eggs ever. Put the eggs in basket or rack, pressure cook on high about 5 minutes with half a cup of water, .let it naturally release (another 5 ish minutes) then ice bath. Eggs peel easily, no matter the age, no sulfur ring around the yolk. Wife makes many different things in it

  2. I use it for eggs too, I've done other things with it but it's my go to for hard boiled eggs.

  3. About 5 years ago our son have us the 6qt version of that exact model. We used it a few times and it's been in the back of the big larder ever since. Seems that thing is for folks that make a lot of food. It's just the 2 of us so the Instant Pot is overkill for us. Now if they made a 1 or 2 qt version.... Nah. Too many kitchen gadgets already.

  4. The "New" Model is a combo Air Fryer and Pressure Cooker and it's about $15.00 more, that's a way more versatile gadget.
