Tank truck clearing snow in Washington DC, January 1922. This shot is on the north side of the Avenue, opposite the State, War, and Navy Building, in the block west of Lafayette Square. The house with the shutters behind the truck is Blair House.

  1. My late Grandfather always talked about his days driving a chain drive Mac fuel oil delivery truck in Detroit and how good it was in the snow. Never really saw a picture of the tank truck version till now. Thanks!
