And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Nooooo! Not with a classic! And what did they do with the windshield?
One Adam 12 one Adam 12 211 in progress one Adam 12 handle code three...., When Martin Milner passed away LAPD gave him a full Police Honors funeral. Officer Pete Malloy was my hero growing up. Cool, laid back, sharp as a tack, tough as nails. RIP Martin Milner.
Keep an eye out for the custom Fuzzy Farrant grips on Malloy's .38. Farrant was a second generation LAPD orificer AND custom grip maker, and a member of the LAPD pistol team. I have a set of his grips on a S&W Model 28 and they are the shizz.
Just as the car is straightening out at the end of the clip, a black thing comes shooting over the roof. Would that be the remains of a cable rigged by the grips to make sure the car came straight and settled down into the channel?
59' Buick?....what a tank.....The parents of a friend in high school bought him one for his first car, thinking that sheer bulk meant safety....it was medium green metallic....lots of chrome....
Most older TV and movie shots taken from the front have the windshield removed to eliminate glare and reflections, watch for it and you may be surprised how often it was done.
I just saw that recently on Adam-12..............
ReplyDeleteThere's a old show.. "One Adam-12, fight with chains and knives"... these days who brings a chain to a gun fight?
DeleteBack then, they were just another surplus car. Now a days, I want to cry every time I watch Bullit.

ReplyDeleteI still enjoy watching the reruns from 5PM - 6PM on MeTV. Makes me nostalgic for my teen years.......

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone notice the windshield and windows and most likely the rear glass are removed?
