Cool Weather Station
My father-in-law was a meteorologist for the AF. He retired out of McChord, AFB outside of Tacoma, WA. From most places in the area one could see Mt. Rainier. His favorite statement about the whether in western WA was "If you can't see the mountain it's raining. If you can, it's going to rain." Of course he also suggested just looking out the window.
We have a similar station up on a 60' tower. Last night we (NW Wash) were pummeled wit winds and my luck, the battery is low. No Idea what the top wind speed was. Over 300k without power when I got home. Of interest, a poor dude tried driving a postal truck across Deception Pass bridge. Blew, tipped the truck sideways hanging over the water. Guarantee he needed a change of shorts.6 hours later this morning they got it off the bridge. https://komonews.com/news/local/mail-semi-nearly-blown-off-deception-pass-bridge-during-windstorm
My wife has one similar to this. I think the bottom numbers in the outdoor/indoor boxes are humidity.
