And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Morons are lucky it's just the dirt they got this time. Why does this rally racing sanction allow this sort of thing to go on? I mean what is this, DEATH RACE 2000?
I think that's a Lancia 037, the last great rally car before the AWD monsters. That's an old video, from the Group B era. Group B cars were ridiculously fast, to the point that they folded the whole class and reassessed their safety rules. Too many spectators were getting killed.

ReplyDeleteI bet the brown stains on their legs is more than just mud.
ReplyDeleteHey, let's go watch the rally race!
ReplyDeleteYeah, yeah! We can sit on the grass 18" from the edge of pavement on the outside of a curve! It'll be fun!!
Sure, then after lunch we can find a tall building to jump off of.
Well worth the price of admission.
ReplyDeleteDeadly car in front of me, retarded idiots in back of me, stuck in the middle with you.
ReplyDeleteLancia Beta Monte Carlo, I think, Italian car but but it might also be Portugal. Their spectators are renowned for putting the F in stoopid.

DeleteHey honey, grab grand mom, the kids and lets go. I found a place to stand on the outside of a high speed curve.
ReplyDeleteCould also be the Circuit of Ireland. Road racing by both cars and motorcycles is still big over there.
