And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I broke Mrs. CW's blender today, and now she wants me to replace it with this.
I have the same vitamix blender I bought in 1990. I just gave my moms to a friend- that one is close to 40 years old. A work horse that is worth the money. All I’ve ever done is replace seals in the lid. And they used to send you those for free.
The wife broke the picture on our old mixer this past thanksgiving. A Kerr quart jar had the same threads as the old mixers blade unit. I made her use that for a month until she found that model Vitamix under the Christmas tree.
