  2. Sting a little? I just ate some crushed pineapple for breakfast this morning, all I noticed was the same acid thing all citrus has.

  3. Canned pineapple is cooked which negates the bromelain. Bromelain is also why you don't use raw pineapple in jello salads, it won't jell if you do.
