1974 Fascination - Created by Paul M. Lewis in the late 1960s in Denver, Colorado - Powered by a four-cylinder Renault engine

Now I want one.   Apparently all five examples still exist.  More of the story here.

  1. The cabin like Bucky Fuller's Dymaxion car but as a delta (with wider rear width) instead of tadpole. The Dymaxions rolled way too easily but this one looks like it would be a lot more stable in turns. Pretty neat!

  2. Kinda looks like the Oscar Mayer wiener car 😂

  3. Does it have a functioning 8 Track?

  4. At first I was kinda put off, but the more I look the more it appeals to me. In fact I really would like one. It'd be a great vehicle to drive up to 9W with a High School cheerleader and watch the submarine races on the Hudson like I use to in my 1956 Ford.

  8. This configuration is much less stable than the two wheels in front layout of the Morgan and others. Top Gear had a wonderful episode featuring the Reliant Robin trike rolling over, and over.

  9. This is a four wheeled car. The two front wheels are together like that of a sest of front airplane landing gear. If that configuration can keep a plane that heavy upright, then this car should be okay. And as for turning it, that would be like driving a limo.

  10. One The Reliant Robin has ONLY one wheel in the front. And Two. Top Gear confessed later that the show had rigged the ones that the show used to roll over more often than usual.
