And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That is a good question. They could use a composting toilet and filter the gray water. Maybe there is a small holding tank with a grinder for the solids. Everything else could go out to a drip line with minimal inches of soil. Then again, they could be pumping into a septic tank and using traditional field lines in a mound system where the percolating soil was hauled in from somewhere else. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful location and set-up. I wonder if it was a natural lake or man-made. The water is so clear and so deep. I live on one of the cleanest lakes in the country (no water commercial water traffic or industry with the headwaters coming out of a Wilderness Area. It is also the deepest in Alabama) and we don't have that kind of clarity.
I think that's salt water, evidence of tides and the last section of that dock looks to be set up for following the tide. I'm going to guess east coast USA somewhere north of Ellsworth or perhaps somewhere in the Maritimes.
Looks like solar-panels are the only energy source.
ReplyDeleteBugout place...nicely done. Perfect application for solar power.
ReplyDeleteWhere does the poop go? Rough land for a leech field.

ReplyDeleteThank you for what you do.
Wow! This is nearly the ideal place I have dreamed about. All that is missing is the ramp for my seaplane. A turbine-powered Grumman Goose, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIn North Alabama, code now allows field lines that are laid on the ground and are covered with Two feet of dirt.
