And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
They are really good wedges. And Estwing makes a splitting maul that has a head much like that.
With really weird or tight grain, or big honkin logs, having both that type of wedge, or two, and a sledge and a splitting maul, well, you can't do much better without going to an actual log splitting machine of some sorts.
That looks like a really good wedge. I'm more inclined to use a maul and a sledge hammer these days. It's all personal choice.
