  1. Whomsoever cut up that highly collectable 1911 should have their head examined...took a $2000 weapon and turned it into a $900 one.

  2. I fell in love with the 1911 at Parris Island, 1967. I've owned and fired many a pistol since then, but the 1911 will always be my favorite, even with double action, high capacity competitors out there.

  3. Hi C.W.,
My Favorite "Piece!!!!" In 2005 I was 60 years old eyeballing this "Springfield Armory 1911-A1 'G.I. Model'" in the display at JIM'S Gun Shop in Fayetteville, NC. I told the Gun Clerk," I want it!!" He thought I only wanted to look at it. I said,"OH Hell NO, I'm Buyin' IT!!!!" Pistol's come and go but the "John Moses Browning 1911 is FOREVER!!!!!" I'll Bet that even "GOD THE FATHER" Packs one!!!!!!!
    Got GUNZ........OUTLAW!!!!,

  4. I have made my hadj to The Browning Museum, Ogden, Ut. I have seen THE 1911. No role marks. Just as it was when it came from the hands of St. John of Ogden. If you take just one more road trip in your life it MUST be to The Browning Museum. https://www.ogdencity.com/1333/John-M-Browning-Firearms-Museum
