And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

This is embarrassingly good penmanship. I need to practice...
Goes great until you have someone shouting "faster faster" behind you. I knew a guy who wrote like that, he was a pilot and I asked him, he'd trained as draftsman when young.
There was a girl in my high school class who took 3 lines of notes per college ruled line. Readable, but tiny... Me, there's a reason I'm a computer person.

Exactly. I used to be able to write like that, due to a really good Drafting Arts class in Junior High.

I wonder if his copied clearances were that neat. ATC isn't known for cutting you any slack to get stuff written down. It's keep up or else.

ReplyDeleteI also printed my notes in class... working as a pencil draftsman will tend to do that.
