In it's natural environment: the gas station. However, during the last Marysville week run, the new Challenger averaged between 20 and 21 mpg. Not bad for what it is.

  1. Back in late '69, I bought a '70 Cuda. 440 six-pack, 4 speed and 4.10 rear. got 5mpg around town and 12 on a trip.

    1. Yeah, but gas was 30 cents a gallon so who cared?

  2. If this Corona virus ramps up enough we'll soon be bragging about how many miles our street machines get on a bag of oats.

    1. 91 octane, just like I put in the Charger SRT8 for 12 years before. If you're going to play in this league, you have to be ready with the right fuel.

    2. Don't guess you have the Buccee's phenomenon in CA, but in Texas most of them have separate pumps that have pure guzzle-ine, not a drop of ethanol, and in higher octanes too. You've picked a good point in history to have a muscle car with a drinking problem.
