And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Wouldn't be a crisis except people are making it a crisis. So now not only are a lot of the things disappearing from grocery stores, they've forced restaurant closure here in the Peoples' Republic of Illinois.
Here in Seattle, where at night the funeral pyres light the skies, it's medieval. But, while store shelves are void of most pasta, one store here in my very yuppie neighborhood did have a couple dozen boxes of gluten free spaghetti available...
