  1. A lot of them are. There is no substitute for blooded troops and nobody trains soldiers better than soldiers that have been shot at. What the USMC is now can tear down any empire. You cannot believe how they train in peacetime and just won't get how they do it in wartime.

  2. Yes, PLEASE, let them continue to train in combat with their speed brake out. That's such a combat effectiveness enhancer. Why, it not only gives you more time to aim at your target, it doubles as a bullet shield for anybody shooting at you from behind.

    1. You're not a pilot. They are in a dive.

    2. It appears 302's pilot and back seater are watching their wingmans missile launch. Or is this a given? The pulses from the rocket motor make it look like it had been launched from behind 302. Cool photo either way.

    3. Agreed. They are pacing / formation flying the missile, as is the camera aircraft. You can see the rocket exhaust glow reflecting off the lower aft vertical stabilizer on 302.

From the background you see the dive angle. There are clouds just above the deployed speed brake as well as a number of other features.

And you can get paid to do this? Sign me up.
