Really, term limits by law seem more and more attractive, but it's just too bad that the electorate doesn't kick those virtually useless career politicians out on their own.  Look at Biden as a great example of someone who's been in Washington for decades, but without any real accomplishments other than self aggrandizement.

Look at Trump who has never been a politician until getting elected president, and who is kicking the hind end of all the so called professional politicians of both parties.  Their scam is exposed, and therefore they despise him!
