Gabbard warns that DNC debate qualifications could make voters think ‘the fix is already in’

Of course the fix is in.  Ever since the McGovern disaster the party has rigged the process.

But Tulsi, although frequently wrong, is far more honest than one normally sees these days in that party.  She needs to seriously reconsider her membership ( and probably will, as she gets older and wiser).

When you’ve got lack of trust, then you’ve got people who wonder whether they should even be involved at all, whether or not they should show up to the caucuses and the primaries if the fix is already in.”
Gabbard also lamented the nature of the debates and the focus on which candidates come up with entertaining quips, rather than on in-depth discussions of issues that could be informative for viewers. This, though Gabbard herself gained attention from a viral moment in the second debate round, when she blasted Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., for her record as a prosecutor."
But that wasn't a "quip," was it.  It was a legitimate complaint about Harris behavior, and it hurt Kamala as badly as it did because it was true.
I won't vote for her, but for now, I'll grant the gal respect for her stones in calling out the hypocrites and liars.
Annoy the Man.  Advertise for the rebel alliance.

  4. Her father was a Republican that went Dem so he could still be a part of the one party government of Hawaii. He is far too conservative for most of what could still be considered "moderate" in the Democratic Party. I hope some day the Dem Party can have a worthwhile slice within it that can be considered conservative but I do count Tulsi Gabbard as a (lone voice) of Dem "moderates", at least on a few issues.

BTW, I'm not standing on one leg while I wait for the Democrats to welcome differing views in their party, especially the "mainstream" of the Party.
