  2. I'm not an aviation fanatic, but even I can appreciate the lines of a sleek missile-like aircraft like a Starfighter. What a cool looking jet.

  4. Most folks have no idea, I have seen 450 kts by the end of the runway and punched through 35,000 ft in 89 seconds from brake release. The leading edge of the wing is so sharp that I have sliced an apple in half on it. Loved that airplane.

  5. I've heard that they used to use f-104s for interceptors out of Homestead Castro's mugs didn't stand a chance
