I noticed a lot of loaded apple trees in McCloud yesterday - plenty of Winter chill to set a good crop. Made me think of cider.

Or, make your own.

  1. 2 weeks from yesterday, I'll have somewhere near 50gal of it to freeze and give away. Oh, and about 130lbs of sauerkraut as well. Family thing I've tried to keep going.

  2. I read a piece not too long ago about apple cider, seems it's hard cider in the rest of the world. It was in the US too until prohibition came along, alcohol free cider got the producers thru the experiment and now it's the 'normal' here in the US.
