And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Somebody recommended this yesterday. If I had one of these I'd probably never stop smoking/cooking from March to October.
I've had a Brinkman for years. Probably not as nice as that Weber but basically the same design. The Brinkman is no longer made. Do a medium sized turkey at your next get together. Your guests will love you. I'd never seen turkey go so fast.
I had a cheap one (not a Weber) & never liked it as much as the 22" Weber kettle. I saw a guy with one of those electric pellet smokers, spendy but it smelled liked it worked and you didn't have to send the fire/temps all day.
I have a 25ish year old stainless steel electric that is on it second heating element that I use year round. I rigged up a thermostat relay so I could control the heat and typically cook in the 180 to 225 range. I will use apple or pecan on chicken and turkey. If I want a heavy smoke flavor I will go with hickory or live oak.
