And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Inlaws live way up in one of the canyons fairly close- raised a lot of havoc. Dumped stuff off shelves etc. Major damage there was it kilt' their swamp cooler.. In Ridgecrest, sounds like it made a mess this time.

Worse in Ridgecrest, 11 miles from the epicenter.
But literally in the middle of desert on the China Lake NWS.
The only ones really freaked out will be some coyotes and jackrabbits.
I'm just outside of San Diego, and I didn't feel it. That's OK, I've felt them before, and they always make me nervous!
