And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We'd be happy retiring there. Though we think we might rather do as my parents did and travel the country as snowbirds, from Alaska to Quebec, to Florida, and Death Valley, and everywhere in between. Move every couple of weeks. Three cats would be a challenge in a 'small' 36' trailer with 3 pop-outs, but we could get a Corgi or two to round it out.
