High Flight

  1. I still prefer the A-12 Oxcart to the SR-71 Blackbird. But that's just me. Either one would get you more altitude than almost anything with wings except for the space shuttle and the X-15.

  3. Every time an SR-71 flew at warp speed, the heat of the air friction caused the skin and structure to heat treat itself and anneal the metal into a super titanium alloy of immense strength. These planes could possibly last forever and never turn to dust. Now, bring them back from the museums and install digital flight and engine controls. Update a few other issues and gas 'em up. Let's rock !
