The de facto president wins a couple more

President-elect Trump is on a roll today. Following House Republican's vote to strip the Ethics Office of independence, Trump lashed out with a tweet suggesting Congress' time be better spent on other things... and just minutes ago, following an emergency meeting, Republicans, like whipped dogs, have confirmed the amendment has been pulled.

Trump's recent "strong hints" to US-based automakers to keep production within the US are starting be heard loud and clear, and nowhere more so than at Ford, which just hours after observing the beat down Trump gave to competitor GM on Twitter, announced that it is scrapping plans for a new $1.6 billion plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico after itself coming under criticism by Donald Trump for shifting small-car production south of the border, and announced it would instead invest $700m in a plant expansion in Flat Rock, Michigan.

  1. Those Michigan voters should be happy that they voted correctly. Flat Rock is just south of Detroit proper and it will bring jobs to those people.

And he's not even the president yet...
