And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I believe it's French beauty Francoise Hardy. I had a post about her years ago. https://garageofmontecristo.wordpress.com/2014/01/29/memories-of-french-beauty-francoise-hardy-from-1966/
Any day with Francoise is a great day. When I was a kid in the 60s, I had a fairly high-quality metal and plastic model of that Grand Prix racer she's sitting in. I think my dad might have got it for me with her in mind. You miss out on a lot of things when you're six.
In the 1966 movie Grand Prix, she played Nino Barlini's girlfriend. He was the Italian Ferrari driver in the movie. Except for Peter Wellers Bucharoo Banzai, I 've seen Grand Prix more times than any other movie(probably 7 or 8 times).
I don't think I could handle either one
ReplyDeleteBut admit it, you'd like to try.
DeleteHas her name on the jump suit, Dunlap, and she's driving 7...

DeleteThat photo is from the very early 1960's. At 25 years of age that would make miss yum-yum +75 now.---Ray
