  1. There are times a little heat will help the spindle nuts release. Personally, I don't think I'd grind the rims down to the nuts, but if that's what it takes....

    2. The bigger question is how did judgeroybean know that a DEI hire worked on that wheel?
Were there no accidents before DEI?

On a side note JD Vance is the biggest DEI hire in the history of the country. Completely unqualified and hired just based on his race/gender.

So far JD has proved to be horrible at his job and has been a drag on the Trump ticket.
JD promoted the Haitians eating cats story that has led to Trump getting laughed at by the whole world.
JD created the childless cat lady line of attack that got about half the country against him (all women) and the biggest popstar on earth to endorse Harris...

So how is that DEI hire going for Trump?

    3. About the same as the one Biden hired about 4 years ago. Cumswalla what's her name.

    4. Haitians eating cats and geese has been documented by the local police. J.D. is awesome

    5. It's the press that's lying about various issues. If you're fool enough to believe what they say over the credibility of a guy like JD, well then, there's little hope for you.

    6. The credibility of a guy like JD???
JD Vance? The guy that changed his name 3 times? JD Vance, the guy that called Trump Hitler? JD Vance, the guy that used to hate the police? JD Vance, the San Francisco venture capitalist?

Yea... I don't trust JD Vance.
On a side note, how long do you think it will be before JD turns on Trump?
I mean the guy turned on his wife, his family, his friends and previous views. It is only a matter of time before he turns on Trump too.

      Sure

  4. Must have landed on a hard concrete runway rather than asphalt. I'm surprised there are no scrape marks though.

  5. Occurred 1 July 2019. United Airbus A319-100, N837UA, Flight UA2098 from La Guardia, NY to Houston Intercontinental,TX with 128 passengers and 5 crew Crew declared emergency reporting hydraulic issues, their new destination was Newark. The aircraft landed on Newark's runway 22L about 17 minutes after departure.

  6. And yet the gear didn't collapse and the jet didn't drag a wing or roll. I'd call that a success.

  7. That’s how it’s supposed to work. Locked wheel touchdown due to hydraulic issues…inoperative anti-skid system on that side. The rubber flatspots down to the nitrogen inside and the tires fail. The wheels are most likely a magnesium-aluminum alloy and the brake stack is steel, aluminum & magnesium. That just grinds away. The hydraulic fuses for that side’s brakes open as the brake housing fails, stopping the flow of fluid to the brake units and lessening the fire risk. Didn’t even reach the axle on the strut. Jack it up, pull the ground bits off, slap on new brakes & wheel & tire assemblies & tow it to the barn. Look at the trunion & structure for any damage, replace the likely failed antiskid control box, swing the gear a few times & go flyin….. Welcome to my world.
