And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Tri Tip to end the Labor Day Holiday. Smoked on the Rec Teq
Ok. I complain about California a lot. But I can’t find tritip up here in the north woods of Wisconsin. Only came across it once at an IGA which has subsequently closed. Tritip was everywhere in California and such a great cut for the grill.
Try doing a search of 'Grass Fed Beef' ranchers. There are many that will help you mail order the beef you crave. It may not be cheap, but the prices will be competitive. And I can guarantee you that the quality will be tough to beat. If I didn't raise my own beef, it's what I'd do.
Most of the ranchers that sell online are fine folks that can be trusted. It's a lot of work to raise cattle, then harvest, cut and wrap and then market and ship your product. You don't do it if you don't love it and want to share the quality with people you'll probably never meet.
Tri tip is great on the grill, used to be really cheap cut of meat, back in the 70's is was like 59/79 cents per pound now it outrages the price if you can find it.
Mrs. CW likes my smoker and the food it produces better than I do. You won't regret the purchase. Lately I've been using apple wood pellets successfully.
Nicely created!
