And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Looks like a stone floor too. Note the clock prominently placed. Bet someone gets rather engrossed with his/her listening and needs to keep an eye on the time.
That cabinet is an adaptation of the JBL 4530 enclosure. In the 1970s, it was usually delivered with a 2205 driver which was very useful for low frequencies in a PA or for electric bass. I had two that I used for my bass setup loaded with Altec 421H drivers. My amp was a GMT 300B and I loved the sound I got from my 1965 P-Bass - really competed with the guitar players and their Marshalls and Model-Ts. Later I got a 2x15" cabinet (Kustom tuck-n-roll) with the same Altec 421H drivers. Not as boomy a sound as the 4530 cabinets, and much easier to carry.
I've always wanted an Eames Lounge Chair, but the chances it'll ever happen are close to none! Oh well! For those fortunate enough to own the real thing (not a replica but genuine Herman Miller), are they as comfy as the appear to be?
Yeah buddy! That's a serious listening post! Old schools stereos rule!
ReplyDeleteIf the other walls are brick that's gonna be one echoey room.
