  1. Saw one beautiful one on the ground at a local airport for maintenance of some type when I was a teen. The lightning and corsair are my two favorite piston engine planes.

  2. Last time I went through Burbank Airport there was a big empty field where the Lockheed plant that built that aircraft used to be.
