    2. I tried stacking round bales like that once. Here in central Tennessee, we get 50/60 inches of rain yearly. Seems like most comes during hay feeding season. Anyway the rain pooled between the bales and made a mess.
      A lot of rotten moldy hay wasted.

    1. As a fifth-generation member of a family that has owned its ranch since 1854 I'd say your statement is a stretch. There are tons of ranchers just like us. There are 11 families just like mine in my county alone.

  6. Big round bales like these went from $65 this summer a bale to around $130 now. Depending on how tight they're wrapped water doesn't damage them too much.
