And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The ribbons with "E" are Navy Rifleman (Expert) and Navy Pistol (Expert). The ribbon to the left of them looks like the Global War on Terrorism Service ribbon and the one on top is the National Defense Service ribbon.
Well crap, being out of the Navy 38 years has me messing up isiginia and ribbons. That is an Electronics Technician insignia, and the ribbons with an "E" are, I think, for pistol, not rifle, but don't quote me on that.
We qualified for food stamps when my husband was E5. I told him there was no way we would apply and that we might have stuff he was not familiar with sometimes but we’d survive.
A surface navy nuke, with a couple of Battle Efficiency E ribbons, reuniting with his wife and even the baby's face expresses the goodness of it.

ReplyDeleteExactly. The Battle "E" is blue, with white & yellow stripes on the ends & he wouldn't have 2 ribbons but one ribbon with 2 "E"s
