“The Professionals”. 1966. Claudia Cardinale as Mrs. Maria Grant.

  1. Half-Tunisian, half-Italian, voluptuous. Not my type though, and I always thought she was a mediocre actress as well.

  2. Mr. Grant to Lee Marvin as he mounts his horse, " You Bastard.!!"

Marvin while adjusting his campaign hat, "Yes Sir, in my case a accident of birth...But you Sir, you're a self made man..."

    1. One of my favorite lines ever, and yes Ms Cardinale was a spitfire!

    2. Claudia to Burt Lancaster: "I trust you" as she kisses Burt while reaching for the missing revolver in his empty holster.

Burt back to Claudia: "I trust you too" as he cocks the revolver and points it at her.

  3. Another great line, Marvin after examining an approaching cloud of dust, " That gentlemen, is the whirling best dervish of them all!"

  4. Woody Strode was so perfectly cast in this film. He was one of my favorite actors from the '60s along with Lee Marvin and Burt Lancaster.

  5. Just watched and recorded this on one of the pay channels. One of my all time favorite westerns. What actor today could compare to Lancaster, Marvin and strode.
