    2. My same exact thought. And I get that thought a lot, when I'm shooting around other people outside, not at the range where there's supervision. 'The clip is empty' they say, waving the barrel around. I had a dope squeeze off a round from an 'empty clip' once as I went to retrieve a target. Bounced off the cement about 2 ft behind my left heel. So: Get yer snot hook off the trigger, honey.

    3. Aggie used the term clip while imitating/disparaging a range noob, obviously. And I agree with Anon, don't touch the trigger until you're ready to fire, just ask Halyna Hutchins.

  5. We were doing staggered lunches at one of the Ft. Polk rifle ranges during February’68…..

We were across the gravel road from the firing foxhole pits standing up eating our chow that had been trucked out to us.

As the last group were being given loud verbal instructions about removing the magazines and clearing the chambers when one of the trainees squeezes off a round that cracks by above our heads….

The goofball had to run around and around our company as we double timed the 8 miles back to our barracks…
