And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. I bet it would take over 30 pueblo colorado winters to burn that much wood for heat here in my house. But I'd save over 30,000$ in gas bills over that period.
ReplyDeleteHard to split and creates mucho creosote. But yeah, an enormous amount of firewood!
ReplyDeleteEucalyptus are notorious for shedding limbs in high winds.
And extreme flammability. Just ask the folks who survived the Oakland Hills fire in '91.
DeleteEuchs are bad news.
Looks more like on the road between Petaluma and hyw. 37
ReplyDeleteI wonder if those trees still line that road. It seemed like every 5 years or so one would come down and kill somebody.
DeleteThat would be Lakeville Hwy.
DeleteOnly a few left a couple years ago when I went by.
DeleteWhen will you import a koala "bear" to go with it?
ReplyDelete--heard they were imported from The Oz for the purpose of making railroad ties-(ever heard of Rancho Santa Fe-in northern San Diego County? it 'bout burned up 15-20 years back). No good for ties-splits too easily---the saga continues---
ReplyDeleteThey were imported for lumber. Of the 70+ variaties of uke they brought the wrong one. Took decades before they realized it.
