  2. From 68 to 75 I was able to wangle my way into the Masters. Most of the years it was as a soda hawker but I did some paid tickets over the years.

  3. Note that neither Palmer nor Hogan are logoed up with brand advertising. They played golf, and weren't selling anything as they strolled down the fairways.

    1. Read many years ago Palmer started the sponsorship thing. Remember the Pennzoil commercials.

  4. The seated individuals are members & their guests. Back then, members didn't have to wear their jacket. Although it was a major, it was mostly southern & NYC orientated. Today, Charlotte has the most members (15 or so), followed by ATL.
