  2. Worth every penny, although I initially cringed at the price. Checks the internal temperature of whatever you're cooking so you don't over do it. You may say you're a good judge of temp, but you're only maybe close. This tells you exactly when your steak is right, hamburgers, etc. You will notice a difference.

  3. Nope. Not fast enough. I have a Thermapen ONE that I use when grilling and it's incredibly fast and accurate. The Thermo Pro has been relegated to the oven where I don't need it to be fast.

  4. Since I purchased a thermapen, realized I had been over cooking everything: steaks, turkey, chicken, everything. When smoking brisket, pork shoulder, ribs, take it to 165f then wrap it up, finish at 195f, let it rest a few hours. Thermapen is a must have for grilling and smoking.
