And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My wife is now finishing up on canning 70 lbs of ripe tomatoes, 40lbs. of albacore, and about 8 pints of tomato sauce. Also managed to cram a half of cut and wrapped beef in the freezer. The mud room is crammed with cases of canned food, and I have a closet full of ammo to keep all this safe. When the SHTF, we'll watch in comfort, and repel all invaders, including the current treasonous government we have allowed to destroy this once Great country.
