  2. Great photo. Taken back when McCulloch Pro saws were the king of the woods, and all the young fallers wanted to work alongside a man like this in hopes of learning what they could from him.
    Back when I was working old fallers like this guy were revered by everyone, not just the young fallers. Everybody in the woods loved them.

    2. No, I'll bet he's at least in his mid-fifties, maybe early sixties.
      He never needed a gym membership. He worked out seven hours a day, five days a week, tacked on to an hour and a half drive to and from the woods every day. Then he'd spend a few hours at home doing saw work just for relaxation in the evening to be able to get ready to do it all over again the next day.

      Tough hombres, all of whom are in tremendous physical condition just from putting in a day's work. They love their jobs and would never consider doing anything else. After all, their office has the prettiest view in the world, and it changes every day. The fact that they may not be coming home in the evening after getting slammed into the ground just goes with the territory.
