And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Great lookin car, right up 'til that abortion of a rear bumper treatment. Seriously, who looked at that and said "this will be a perfect finishing touch"?!
No kidding, that center-mounted brake/backup light, right off the cab of some pickup truck, turned upside down. Left that one to the summer intern, I guess.
All good until the rear bumper/ exhaust treatment. Seriously, who thought that was a great idea. Should have taken a design cur from ram pickups and gone the half moon bumper cut out for exhaust.
I'm not picky... Given a choice, a 340 A bodysuits me just fine, too. My last was a '72 Swinger, stone stock, right down to the grampa gold paint, factory hubcaps and AM radio. LOVED that little car.
Oh Lawdy Lawd.
ReplyDeleteAin't no coyote gonna catch THAT road runner ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have a blower.
ReplyDeleteNo picture of the engine bay?

DeleteI'd prefer a roots blower, too.
You nailed it. The first thing that came to mind was the “family truckster” from Vacation.
DeleteShit, I was so horrified by that bumper I only just notice the JC Whitney caliber "twinfin" on the deck lid. Jeebus, man.

ReplyDeleteHell I had those stock on my '73 SE Charger. Looked good with those big ol' resonators peakin out. Sounded even better!
DeleteWrecked it. Another wasted B body.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. The '68-'69 B bodies were about as close to automotive perfection as I've ever seen, right off the line. Dodge AND Plymouth.
DeleteI’ve got three B bodies and none are 68 or 69. 😂
